Welcome to Cybercare. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App"). Cybercare is developed and operated by Pearl Oluomachi ("we," "us," or "our").

By using Cybercare, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you create an account and use our App, we collect the following information that you voluntarily provide:

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

As you use the App, we automatically collect the following usage data to provide and improve our services:

• Learning Progress Data: Which training modules you have started, your completion percentage, and which topics you have completed.
• Achievement Data: Badges earned upon completing training modules, including the date earned.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

Cybercare does not collect the following:

• Device location or GPS data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Contact lists or call logs
• Financial or payment information
• Health or biometric data
• Crash logs or diagnostics
• Browsing history

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Account Management: To create and manage your user account, authenticate your identity, and enable password recovery.
• Learning Experience: To deliver training modules, track your learning progress, and award achievement badges upon course completion.
• Profile Personalization: To display your name and profile photo within the App.
• Content Delivery: To provide access to educational resources, articles, and PDF documents.
• App Improvement: To understand how users interact with the App so we can improve our services.

4. Third-Party Services

Cybercare uses the following third-party service to operate:

Supabase

We use Supabase as our backend-as-a-service provider for:

• Authentication: Secure user registration, login, email verification, and password reset.
• Database: Storage of user profiles, learning progress, module data, badges, and resources.
• File Storage: Secure storage of profile photos, module cover images, video lessons, badge icons, and PDF resources.

Supabase processes your data in accordance with their Privacy Policy. Data transmitted to and from Supabase is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS protocols.

Google Fonts

The App may load font files from Google Fonts to render text. Google may collect your IP address when fonts are loaded. See Google's Privacy Policy for more information.

5. Data Storage and Security

We take the security of your data seriously and implement the following measures:

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security).
• Secure Password Storage: Passwords are never stored in plain text. They are securely hashed by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth).
• Access Controls: Database access is restricted through Row Level Security (RLS) policies, ensuring users can only access their own data.
• Secure File Storage: Uploaded files (profile photos, resources) are stored in secure cloud storage buckets with appropriate access policies.

While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We share data with Supabase solely for the purpose of operating the App's backend services, as described in Section 4.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental regulation.
• Safety: We may disclose information when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or property.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: You can view your personal information (name, email, profile photo) within the App's Profile section at any time.
• Correction: You can update your name and profile photo through the Edit Profile screen in the App.
• Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at pearloluomachi@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
• Password Reset: You can reset your password at any time using the Forgot Password feature.

8. Children's Privacy

Cybercare is designed for healthcare professionals and is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete such information.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at pearloluomachi@gmail.com so we can take appropriate action.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. If you request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal obligations.

Learning progress and achievement data is retained to allow you to resume your training and maintain your earned badges.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.

Continued use of the App after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
